You're in the right place.

Whether a friend sent you here, you stumbled across this page in a late-night search, or something in you just knew it was time, welcome. Below, I will share how we can work together and what you can expect.

This is body-centered, trauma-informed healing. And it's built for mothers like you.

At Embody First, we start with the body because that's where healing actually lives. Through personalized somatic awareness techniques, breathwork practices, and integrative coaching, you'll do more than manage what you're carrying, you'll begin to understand it, move through it, and emerge from it. Not just regulated, but reconnected. To your body. To your intuition. To the version of yourself your family gets to experience when you're no longer running on empty. And when you're ready, there's a community of mothers here walking the same path alongside you.

The body leads. Integration follows.

You'll be guided slowly and intentionally into greater presence, steadiness, and connection with yourself — building the kind of emotional resilience and inner clarity that changes how you move through your days.

  • Accountability and support between sessions

  • Decision-making from regulation rather than survival mode

-Group Events

Available for mothers through private gatherings, retreats, churches, schools, and organizations that support women in every phase of motherhood.

Somatic Creative Expression Sessions

A collaborative experience where somatic healing meets artistic expression, guided alongside local artists from every background and medium.

These sessions are light, expressive, and deeply freeing — a space where emotion can move, creativity can flow, and your body releases what words cannot reach. Through intuitive creative processes combining movement, sound, visual expression, symbolic creation, and embodied presence, your nervous system is given a safe outlet to release what it's been holding and restore its natural flow.

These intimate group sessions are designed for mothers of all ages and phases who are ready to move through barriers to creativity, desire, and self-expression. You'll release stored emotions, reconnect to your heart and intuitive knowing, co-regulate in community, and rediscover the joy, play, and wonder that healing can hold.

Each session is themed, immersive, and deeply connective — and occasionally includes opportunities to bring your children into the experience.

These sessions support emotional release without overwhelm, a sense of lightness and relief, renewed creativity and inspiration, reconnection to intuition and inner guidance, freedom of expression without judgment, and a return to vitality, play, and possibility.

No artistic skill is needed.

Nothing has to be "good."

Everything is welcome.

Come as you are. Leave lighter, clearer, and more fully yourself.

Breathwork Group Events

Immersive group journeys inward through layered sound, music, and guided breathwork — a collective experience of deep release, emotional clarity, and nervous-system restoration unlike anything you've experienced before.

These trauma-informed, body-based experiences are accessible, inclusive, and require no prior breathwork experience.

Available for private mothers' gatherings, retreats, churches, schools, & community organizations.

Embodied Motherhood was built for that moment.

This is a real community where mothers don't just receive support, they find each other. Monthly gatherings, somatic and creative experiences, meaningful connection, and the kind of friendships that make everyday life feel less heavy and more alive.

What My Clients Say

Abstract Brown Texture
Somatic Therapy

Mary Mills, Jackson, MS

I had my first 9d session with Elizabeth and it was wonderful. I had looked into it a little bit before hand but wasn’t sure what exactly to expect. Elizabeth welcomed me into her studio which is very calming and inviting ms we went over what I could expect and she answered all the questions I had.

I have tried different meditations and breath work before but this was the first time I was really able to be present and turn my mind off. There was a feeling of relief and relaxation.

After the session I felt very calm but also like I had a runners high.

I recommend this practice to anyone who wants to unplug and relax.
